How many more "isolated incidents" will it take before it becomes a pattern, ACORN?

ACORN encourages Prostitution (Part 2)
(For reference, please see "ACORN encourages Prostitution")
So, once can be dismissed as an isolated incident. Twice? Me thinks there is more here than meets the eye. And for those of you who are pissy that I link the President to this organization, perhaps you should be more pissy that ACORN is receiving significant amounts of federal funds in order to do things like this. Not to mention there is always this infamous video of Obama telling ACORN officials that he wants to include them in meetings where the direction of the nation is discussed...

ACORN encourages Prostitution
Unbelievable. These people need to be put out of business permanently. And its high time our Fearless Leader needs to be investigated for his ties to this organization.

Fiddling While Rome Burns
Yesterday the Illinois House was supposed to resume budget talks, but instead they were in session for about a minute and a half. Why so long you ask?
Well, according to this morning's Chicago Tribune article "Lawmakers, Quinn closer, but no budget deal yet", several of the lawmakers in the General Assembly (including the Democrat leader of the Senate) went down to St. Louis for the All-Star Game.
So let's review... Thousands of state employees don't get paid today because the Illinois legislature is 44 days past due in coming up with a balanced budget, but our lawmakers can take time to go see a damn baseball game.
I have never been so angry and disappointed. To the voters: REMEMBER IN NOVEMBER.

O'Reilly "Welcomes" Franken to the Senate
The sad part is that O'Reilly is right. Franken is nothing more than proof that Democrats will just keep counting ballots and throwing out the ones they deem unworthy until they win an election.
Franken stole Minnesota and now Minnesotans need to live with it.

Robert Gibbs Gets Schooled by Chip Reid
Every time I think there is no honest journalism left, there comes the small glimmer of life. This sort of questioning needs to be encouraged.
Kudos to Chip Reid of CBS News.
Congress Travels at Our Expense
While it may come as no surprise, Congress has been doing some excessive traveling courtesy of the US taxpayer. The Wall Street Journal reports today that spending by lawmakers on taxpayer-funded trips has risen considerably in the past few years, and has even gone up 50 percent from last year alone.According to the WSJ: "The spending on overseas travel is up almost tenfold since 1995, and has nearly tripled since 2001, according to the Journal analysis of 60,000 travel records. Hundreds of lawmakers traveled overseas in 2008 at a cost of about $13 million. That's a 50% jump since Democrats took control of Congress two years ago.
The cost of so-called congressional delegations, known among lawmakers as "codels," has risen nearly 70% since 2005, when an influence-peddling scandal led to a ban on travel funded by lobbyists, according to the data."
These bastards are going to exotic foreign nations on my dime. Meanwhile, this country has spent itself into multi-trillion dollar debt, passed a HUGE tax through the Cap and Trade Bill,
and generally begun ruining America. Healthcare is the next big debacle we all need to be aware of and watch out for. All of these damn liberals think our healthcare is screwed up now, they just need to wait and watch what happens when the government gets involved. The government doesn't have a very good track record of getting these sorts of things right... just look at social security and medicare (the precursor to Obamacare socialized medicine).
Anyway, I digress... These congressmen and women have better things to do with their time than to go visit the Galapagos Islands. I'm so sick of this government...
Besides, I thought Congress cared about going green. How "green" is it to jetset all over the damn world?

What the HELL is this?!?
I think we're being invaded by the Blob or something!!! Can it come up from the sewer through my toilet?!?
